The Honeymoon Capital of the World, this city of nearly 81,000 people is defined by the stunning, world famous waterfalls and surrounding vistas. Its two bridges are the busiest border crossings between Canada and the United States, with annual tourist visitors estimated at 14 million.

Many attractions are linked to activities around the Falls. The famous Winter Festival of Lights in Queen Victoria Park is a premier Christmas season light festival, running from mid-November to mid-January, with fireworks and live concerts offered at no charge. A Festival of Lights is held simultaneously in the City of Niagara Falls, New York. Nightly illumination of the falls by colored spotlights creates an incredible spectacle.
