A community hospital which has served the residents of Western Niagara for more than 65 years, the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital is recognized for its excellent quality of care, innovative teaching program and progressive management structure. It is an independently governed community hospital offering a full range of acute care services, including medical/surgical, obstetrical, complex continuing care, intensive care beds, outpatient services and comprehensive emergency services. Community support has been extensive and today the hospital operates 60 beds and employs 370 people.  The hospital will be building a completly new facility, with construction set to begin in 2010
