Ontario Street Site is an Ambulatory Care facility serving a catchment area of approximately 155,000 people in St. Catharines and Thorold, as well as surrounding communities. In addition to offering Day Surgery, associated Clinics, and Outpatient Hemodialysis services, the Site runs a Prompt Care Centre for patients with minor illnesses (8 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily). The Ontario Street Site offers residential detoxification services for men and women, as well as a number of addiction recovery counselling programs for outpatients. Other services include Diabetes education, management and follow-up for adults and children. Plans are now in development to construct a new hospital in the city and operate a Regional Cancer Centre, to be opened in 2012.

Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre was established on the sites of the Shaver Hospital and Niagara Rehab and functions as a Catholic healthcare facility dedicated to the service of the sick and the promotion of health and well being. With 102 complex continuing care beds serving the populations of St. Catharines and Thorold, 22 adult rehabilitation beds serving all of Niagara and 53,000 square feet housing regional rehabilitation programs, the Hotel Dieu Shaver is a significant health care organization. Through the work of our over 400 employees, 35 physicians and 150 volunteers, we provide specialized health services grounded in the philosophies of the three organizations and in accordance with the philosophy, mission and values of The Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph.
