McMaster University

The Niagara Regional Campus for McMaster University has been designed for students who wish to learn and to experience medicine in one of the loveliest parts of Canada. Academic components of the program take place in St. Catharines Ontario within the new Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex. The curriculum delivered at the Niagara Regional Campus is equivalent at all three of McMaster’s Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine campuses with the benefit of smaller class sizes in Niagara leading to a more personalized learning experience.

McMaster has ranked second in Canada for biomedical and health care research.   The Niagara campus has 28 new students per year along with 1 ER Resident, 1 General Surgery Resident and 9 Family Medicine Residents.

Opportunities are available for academic appointment in a range of specialties.
