
Niagara has much to offer in terms of educational facilities; Brock University and three Niagara College campuses are spread around the region. McMaster University, University of Waterloo, Western University and University of Toronto are also popular choices amongst local students.

Brock University now houses a state-of-the-art sports facility and the Enology and Viticulture Institute which offers an honours Bachelor of Science degree, the only program of its kind in Canada.
Niagara College with its three regional campuses, has recently opened a new $60-million campus just outside of St. Catharines. The college has 5,000 full-time students.
St. Catharines is also home to many private schools, including stately Ridley College, which counts among its alumni the Royal family’s Prince Andrew.Established asa boys’ school in 1888, now almost half of Ridley’sstudents are girls.It is considered one of the best universitypreparatory schools.
Wheatley School has beenpreparing young minds for the future for nearly 2 decades. A co-educational, non-denominational independent school, Wheatley offersMontessori programs for children from Preschool to Grade 8.
