The Niagara Health System has an active Hospitalist Program operating out of the St. Catharines, Welland, Niagara Falls and Port Colborne Sites. Hospitalists provide comprehensive care from admission to discharge for all unassigned patients in specified programs, including admission histories and physicals, morning rounds, discharges and other appropriate support as required. Physicians must be Licensed, or eligible for license with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario. There will be 2 Community Health Centres (CHC) opening in Niagara later this year in Fort Erie and Port Colborne. They will be recruiting family physicians as well as many allied health professionals to the centres and offering competitive salaries.
